New patron
Welcome to Almedalsbiblioteket!
In order to borrow books from us, you must have a library card from the
libraries of Gotland . If you are a new patron, you get a free library card upon
registering and showing proof of identity.
Fill out the
web
form to register as a patron. The PIN must be four digits of your choice. If
you do not have a Gotland address, you can enter your home address. In order to
validate your library card, you must come to the library in person and show
valid proof of identification.
Once you are registered and your account has been validated, you can can check
out books via our self-issue machines. Furthermore you can log on to the
computer booking
system and reserve a slot of time to use a computer. You need your user
information to log on to
your
account via our web page (in Swedish only). Here you can administer your own
loans, renewals and reservations.
